Tom and Harry have known each other since secondary school, playing gigs together in local pubs, before attending music schools in London and Leeds respectively. Ahmad Jamal’s arrangements are playful and intriguing, with cheeky, riff-like basslines and various drum figures that can verge on proto-Motown or classic swing.
